Rocke Solid® Marine™ is a disabled veteran-owned company based out of Stafford, Virginia. Rick Scriven and Jackie Dolch always make a point to have constant contact with the users of their products. Rocke Solid Marine is proud of what they build and even prouder when you share how much it helps you out - it helps Rocke Solid continue to design products with the user in mind.
Rick Scriven: A retired recon marine of twenty years. After serving, Rick spent 11 years with Zodiac, where he met 15 year Zodiac employee, and now business partner, Jackie Dolch. During the time Rick spent working with Zodiac while in the United States Marine Corps, he’d become, (at least in his mind) Jackie’s favorite customer.
In 2007 Rocke Solid was founded with a broad goal: To build the best equipment possible to improve the activity of the military boater.
The first success was the design of the Outboard Engine Maintenance Rack, which, with its accessories, has capabilities unmatched by any other tools in the industry.
They are constantly looking to improve the performance and overall experiences of the military mariner - whether through demo, video or even going as far as creating a whole new product to help users through a particular obstacle. Sharing this information daily is what ROCKE.TV is all about.
Jackie Dolch: While Jackie manages all government contracts through GSA, she also maintains strong verbal relationships with users. Rocke Solid strives to maintain a support for our customers, so they know we’re there to assist, improve, and innovate based on their needs.
Starting Rocke Solid Marine has given the two the freedom to continue supporting the military/para-military boaters that they workd with at Zodiac, while additionally trying to solve other problems that might arise. Rick and Jackie want to focus directly on military mariners and first responders, and the things they remembered users needing when they were in these situations.
One great example: The military needed an outboard motor that could also burn jet fuel - a great idea, but really heavy! When Rick and Jackie left Zodiac, they developed the very first Rack to solve that problem and help users transport these engines.
